I'm Going to Haiti! - Medical Mission Trip to Haiti
Hi, I'm Casey and I am so excited to be going to Haiti this summer!
My involvement with Serve Haiti began 4 years ago when I heard about their ministry through my church. My family decided to sponsor a child and we've been faithful partners with the ministry ever since.
I've always wondered what it would be like to actually go to Haiti but to be honest, I've let my fears hold me back. But, not this year! When presented with the opportunity to go this summer, I decided to go for it!
Now, I could use your prayers.
While there, I will be working with others to serve the church shown in the photo that's in the mountains of Haiti. We will be helping with the children by leading and facilitating a VBS program and will also be doing any other tasks that the church needs - I imagine painting, cleaning, etc.
I'll also have the opportunity to visit the orphanage and meet my sponsored child. I've been communicating with her since she was 8 years old and she will be turning 13 while I'm there. I can't wait to meet her in person and get to celebrate her birthday with her!
I have decided to pay my own way there and for any personal expenses I incur.
I am starting this campaign because I'd like your help in supporting this ministry. The need is great and they are already doing incredible things for the people of Haiti. Every little bit helps further their ministry.

Help us raise funds for our 8th Annual Medical Mission this summer!
Please donate and help us provide necessary medical care to the wonderful people of Haiti during this year's 8th Annual Medical Mission!
We will be traveling with a group of 50+ volunteers this July for 1 week. Each year, hundreds of people count on us and this medical mission as their only source of medical care for the entire year.

Each volunteer pays for his or her mission fees. This includes their travel, lodging and meals.
Each and every donation you graciously give will be used solely for the hundreds of patients we see as part of our care. Donations go directly towards any necessary testing (labs and imaging, for example) and any medication, hygiene supplies, kits, vitamins or other medical items these patients need as they would not otherwise have access to.
As a team, we represent many specialties (pediatrics, internal medicine, OB/GYN, dermatology, dentistry, etc.) and count on donations of any amount to accomplish this medical mission each year.
No donation is too small and each and every one is greatly appreciated and makes a difference.
